Small motors inside the seat will generate vibrations on the left, right or both sides of the bottom of the driver seat cushion when prompted by select Driver Assistance
Here are some of the available features that can activate Safety Alert Seat. Please note your vehicle may not have one or more of these features.
Note: The types of alerts available vary by vehicle model.
Yes. For best feature performance, do not place anything on the driver seat. If you want to sit on an additional seat cushion, you should change your alert type to “beeps” in the Alert Type menu.
No. All compatible crash avoidance features will use either Safety Alert Seat pulses or beeps, depending on your selected Alert Type preference.
